Angela Holcomb, LMT is a graduate of the Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College in Arizona. She had a private practice in Arizona for 5 years before moving to Utah and currently has a private practice in addition to working at the Mountain Resort Spa. She is married to Dr. Joseph Holcomb who has a local naturopathic medical practice. She teaches Kinesiology and Seated Chair massage courses at the Cedar City campus.
Erin Hanson, LMT, NCTMB is a graduate of the Utah College of Massage Therapy. After working at several spas and chiropractic clinics in Utah and Idaho, she now teaches Ethics and the Law as well as Hydrotherapy and Spa Training at the Cedar Campus. She is the Financial Aid liaison at the Cedar campus with the school’s main campus in SLC. Currently Erin maintains a private practice and serves on the Board of Directors in Cedar City.
Kathy Pitts, LMT, NCTMB is a graduate of Northwest Health Careers Institute of Las Vegas, NV and practicing therapist of 10 years with experience in the spa industry. Kathy is one of the clinic coordinators at our Cedar campus where she also teaches Prenatal Massage.
Kristy Passey, LMT, NCTMB graduated from Healing Mountain’s SLC campus. She has owned her own massage business in Las Vegas, NV as well as practiced in professional spa settings. Kristy teaches MT I and II, Shiatsu and MT III.
Lily Zerkle, Certified Aromatherapist, Reflexologist, and Midwife graduated from the Michigan School of Traditional Midwifery, and the Brantridge Forest School of Aromatherapy of England, and the Brackenridge Center for Holistic Health for Reflexology. Lily teaches our Aromatherapy course and Reflexology at the Cedar campus.
Matthew Cooper, LMT, NCTMB is a graduate of Healing Mountain Massage
School. For the past 7 years he has worked closely with chiropracters and
natural healthcare practitioners in rehabilitating sport & injury patients. He
specials in myofascial & oriental medical technique. Matt is also a Reiki
master & certified Quantum Touch practitioner. He teaches Reiki/Energy
Healing at the Cedar campus.
RJ Nikola, LMT, BA is founder and Director of both campuses of Healing
Mountain Massage School as well as Director of Education for the Cedar
campus.He graduated from UCMT, has a Junior College Degree in Education
from BYU Idaho as well as a BA in Theory & Comp at BYU’s main Provo
campus. He is author of Japanese Full-Body Shiatsu and Creatures of Water being used at massage schools in the US & Canada. He teaches Massage I, II, Shiatsu, and Hydrotherapy & Spa Training, at the SLC campus. He is an adjunct faculty member at Healing Touch School of Massage in Mississippi. Randy is also an accreditation evaluator with ABHES helping others in the accreditation process, and is currently serving on the ABHES commission.
Rhonda Vasquez, LMT, NCTMB is a graduate of Healing Mountain. She also has an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting from Salt Lake Community College. Rhonda managed a pediatric clinic in northern New Mexico for over 10 yrs and was Chief Financial Officer at Southwest Academy of Healing Arts. She maintains a private practice, is the manager at our Cedar campus where she teaches Marketing and Accountings.
Scott Symond, LMT, NCTMB is a graduate of the Utah College of Massage Therapy with 15 years of experience specializing in Sports Massage, Reflexology, Shiatsu, and Myofascial Release. Scott teaches Sports Massage I & II at our Cedar campus.
Susie Young, BA, LMT, NCTMB, CNA graduated from the Southwest Academy of Healing Arts. Susie holds a BA from BYU, and a CNA (certified nurses assistant). She maintains a private practice in Cedar and was Assistant Director of SWAHA before it closed. She won an award/grant for massage research on the effects of massage on fibromyalgia and presented her research at the 2006 AMTA National Convention. Susie has continuing ed in craniosacral therapy, lymph massage, polarity, lomi lomi, and myofascial release. She teaches Lymph Drainage Massage, Seated Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Business & Professionalism including NCE Prep at our Cedar campus, and is an Administrative Assistant to the school director there.
Tom Clift, LMT, NCTMB graduated from Myotherapy College of Utah. He has
his own private practice in Cedar City, and teaches A&P, Sports Massage &
Kinesiology at our Cedar campus. |
